Lovely place, lovely room and staff. Sadly heavy traffic noise from 6/6.30am made sleeping in difficult

Our second time staying here. Just as good as the first occasion. Warm greeting from Mark the owner and Hayley. The bar area has been enlarged, providing an inviting space to have a drink/chat. Comfortable room. Perfect location as a base for our trip into Cirencester Xmas market. Really good value. The nearby Thai restaurant was excellent. Would definitely visit the Vale again.
Nothing specific.

The hotel is in a historic building so the facilities are old and there are many stairs. It is not suitable for people with mobility problems. The room was small but had everything you need. The bathroom was very clean and each room has coffee or tea making facilities. The girl who greeted us upon arrival was super friendly and the place has the charm of old English buildings. It is on the main street of the town and has a pub if you need to eat something. A few meters down, on the same street there is a supermarket. We parked on the street next to the hotel easily.
Check in is quite late and check out is early, but otherwise everything is very good.
